The best way to find other guys to connect with is in the #talk_like_a_pirate channel in Slack.
Post your question there and if the channel exists, someone from the channel will get you an invite. If the channel doesn't exist, and enough guys are interested, you can request the channel be created right there in #talk_like_a_pirate.
